GARFIELD HISTORY TEACHER RECEIVES $100,000 SETTLEMENT IN POLICE MISCONDUCT LAW SUIT


The James Bible Law Group assisted Jesse Hagopian,  a high school history teacher,  with his lawsuit against the City of Seattle.  On MLK Jr. Day,  Mr. Hagopian was walking on the sidewalk after having participated in Seattle's annual MLK celebration when a Seattle Police Officer sprayed him with what is commonly known as pepper spray.  The incident was captured on video.  The James Bible Law Group filed a lawsuit against the police officers and the City of Seattle.   This Matter resolved just short of trial with a settlement of $100,000.  

To Mr. Hagopian's credit,  he has started a scholarship with the proceeds from the settlement.
